Library Staff Scheduler

This wiki is the collection point for software requirements for an open source, web-based library staff scheduler. Scheduing library employees presents some unique problems that administrative staff in the 9 to 5 world do not have to deal with. Library staff members may be full-time or part-time. Part-time may be anything from 1 hour a week to 19 hours a week (upper limit depending on local rules). The hours that the library has to be staffed are typically half an hour before opening until closing time. There are several desks or positions that need to be staffed, and not all employees are qualified to staff all positions. There are more, and this is the place to capture all of those requirements and constraints.
